Meet Glenn Morris
From humble beginnings as a busboy to incredible travels as a chef, after 14 years away, Executive Chef Glenn Morris returned home! Spending most of his early life in Gatlinburg, Chef Glenn is a self-proclaimed simple man. Having immense knowledge of numerous styles of cooking and creating unique dishes, most of his downtime is spent fishing. Chef Glenn’s various cooking styles and passion to create unique dishes led to him create “The Italian Job.” With this unique take on the classic burger, Smith & Son Corner Kitchen Won the First Annual GatlinBURGER Week!
Chef Glenn’s cooking journey began at the age of 14 with a 10” Henckels Chef knife that he still owns to this day. His introduction to cooking led to unimaginable opportunities that ultimately led him back home. Having over 30 years of experience in the restaurant/food business, Chef Glenn is the perfect fit for our new tradition! And upon his return, jumped at the opportunity to join the KBS Family of Restaurants. From being a patron to Smith & Son’s predecessor to return and spark a new tradition, Meet Chef Glenn Morris!
